Founded in 1990, The Clinic is a 20-bedded unit providing residential and day-care services to help individuals and families recover from the physical and emotional effects of alcohol and drug problems and to achieve healthy, productive lives. The Clinic is a specialist free-standing addictions facility. We accept self-funded patients and patients who are covered by private medical insurance. The detoxification programme includes full physical examination on admission, psychiatric examination during admission, haematological and biochemical blood tests, pharmacological withdrawal regime prescribed, physical needs identified, treated and monitored daily. The therapeutic programme includes daily motivational counselling, group therapy programme when appropriate , one-to-one counselling as necessary and attendance at weekly aftercare and self support groups. The Family Programme is designed to bring about positive change in the family affected by addiction.
