This is an independent hospital that specialises in the treatment and management of addictions and mental health problems for both Adults and Adolescents. The hospital incorporates a Grade II listed building that has been extensively restored and is situated in 3.5 acres of landscaped grounds. Each bedroom has en-suite bathroom, colour television and telephone. Patients on the alcohol and drug addiction programme benefit from a family support group and ongoing after care following completion of treatment. Patient care is the primary concern at the Hospital where treatment programmes include group and individual therapy that is tailored to the clinical needs of the individual patient. Patients are admitted under the care of Consultant Psychiatrists and 24 hour medical cover is provided. The staff team has the expertise and experience to treat most psychiatric conditions including depression and post-traumatic stress.

This Centre has been established as a quasi-residential day-care centre offering all its clients the prospect of a genuine future, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives, move out of the problems of addiction and into the solution of recovery and sober living. The initial programme requires a minimum of 12 weeks residential attendance, the first two weeks being detoxification. If the cost of private treatment is a critical factor, quasi-residential day-care is far less expensive than residential treatment - by up to 15 times in some cases. This does not mean that corners are cut - indeed, patients have been impressed by the quality of care and accommodation provided. On arrival our medical team examines the clients in order to ensure that the most appropriate detoxification regime is prescribed. General health levels are observed simultaneously to ensure patients are in no immediate physical danger. The comfort of the patients is paramount and medication to help ease withdrawal is normally necessary.
